what we wish were not
In anticipation of the beginning of 2017, the Seattle weekly The Stranger published an article compiling regrets from artists, musicians and other notable local folks. I loved the drastic variance in responses, how seriously some took the question and how blasé others were. I asked a few of my friends to share their own regrets, and ended up getting a similarly scattershot emotional range.
I tried an old-school DIY approach for the first time, using a printer I got for free at a co-op (thanks, Shrub!) and cutting and binding everything by hand before gluing on recycled wrapping paper and hand-lettering the covers.
